Thursday, February 15, 2024 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM   iCalendar Eastern Standard Time

The event is intended to serve as an illustration of the usage of best practices in restructuring. There will two case studies presented:

(i) the successful turnaround of a operating business and

(ii) the orderly winddown of a company.

Both case studies will demonstrate how best practices were used during the respective engagements. The turnaround case is a story of how restructuring professionals were able to take a company that was in dire shape and re-position it as a strong, vibrant business through tremendous head winds. The winddown case is an illustration of an orderly winddown where a company was able to successfully complete the work it was contracted to do and deliver these projects to its customers. Rather than a situation where the company was immediately shuttered, the business was orderly wound down in a 120 day period. Employees worked up until the time they were not needed and were able to successfully transition to new jobs quickly.

The case study (i.e., content) portion of the program will be immediately proceeded by a period of networking and then again networking will follow after the program until the conclusion of the event.
