Randy Lay is a Managing Director at G2 Capital Advisors with over 40 years of experience in financial and operational leadership, capital raising, restructuring, and M&A across the telecommunications, chemical, retail, automotive, and construction industries. He has held senior executive roles at firms including Metromedia Fiber Network and Universal Access, where he served as CFO, CEO, and President, and led the company through a successful sale. Randy is known for guiding organizations through financial transformations and growth events. He currently serves on the board of Friends of Joshua House and is a former board member of ACG Tampa Bay and past president of the Tampa Bay Chapter of Financial Executives International.
- Zach Talotta, Vice President, G2 Capital Advisors
Zach Talotta is a Vice President in the Restructuring practice at G2 Capital Advisors, with over five years of experience in operational turnarounds and financial restructurings. He has a strong background in cash flow modeling, forecasting, and financial analysis, with particular expertise in the industrials and manufacturing sectors.
Before joining G2, Zach held finance leadership roles at Newell Brands, supporting major consumer brands and leading global SG&A forecasting and reporting. He began his career at General Electric, completing a rigorous rotational finance program with experience in corporate finance, power services, and capital operations.
Zach holds a BS in Business Administration with a focus in accounting from Babson College. He enjoys hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and reading in his free time.

He has held senior leadership roles at prominent firms including Apollo Global Management, where he served as President, COO, and CIO of Apollo Investment Corporation, overseeing billions in investments across more than 160 portfolio companies.
Patrick was also the founding CEO of Gordon Brothers Finance Company and has held interim executive roles at Callidus Capital, Fifth Street Finance, and Alcentra Capital. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a B.Sc. in Finance from Boston College, where he remains active in mentorship initiatives.

John earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School and his B.A. from Johns Hopkins University.

Prior to joining Gordon Brothers, Joe held senior roles at Truist Bank, Wells Fargo Capital Finance, and other leading institutions, managing complex credit relationships and overseeing multi-billion-dollar portfolios.
