The Upstate New York Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association is proud to partner once again with Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management for Turnarounds in Action—an evening designed to bring the turnaround and restructuring profession to life.
The program kicks off with networking over food and refreshments (5:30–6:30 PM), followed by a panel discussion (6:30–7:15 PM) where industry leaders will share how they navigate the high-stakes world of corporate turnarounds. Attendees will gain insight into the real challenges and opportunities practitioners face, the different career paths available, and the skills needed to succeed. A second networking session (7:15–8:30 PM) will give students and guests a chance to connect directly with panelists, professionals, and peers.

Turnarounds in Action will provide a firsthand look at the profession—from winning client trust and managing crisis situations, to building careers in finance, law, and advisory. Students will walk away with a stronger understanding of how to break into the industry and what it takes to thrive in this demanding but rewarding field.
