“Trade, Tariffs, and Trump: An Economic Outlook”

Please join TMA Indiana and Dr. Matt Will for an economic outlook presentation. Dr. Will's talk will provide the latest insights into the economy and its future. He will delve into how recent global financial events, including major changes to **trade** policy and the use of **tariffs**, are creating ripple effects.

He will offer his unique perspective on how these decisions, particularly those from the **Trump** administration, impact business, economic growth, and the everyday lives of people on Main Street. With his signature sense of humor, Dr. Will guarantees that guests will leave feeling both informed and energized.

Dr. Matthew Will
Associate Professor of Finance
University of Indianapolis

Dr. Matthew Will is an Associate Professor of Finance for the University of Indianapolis MBA Program. He has both graduate and undergraduate degrees from Indiana University in Bloomington, as well as a doctorate from Anderson University in finance. After working a number of years in private industry as a senior manager and executive, he began a career in academia. Dr. Will spent 9 years on the faculty of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. In 2001 he returned to his home state of Indiana and joined the faculty of the University of Indianapolis. He has served as Director of the MBA Program, Associate Dean and currently holds the position of Director of External Relations.

Dr. Will is the author of numerous textbooks, textbook supplements and articles. One of the textbooks to which he has contributed is Principles of Corporate Finance published by McGraw Hill, is one of the top selling MBA textbooks in the country. He has over 50 scholarly publications to his credit, in addition to countless columns and articles published via various media outlets. Dr. Will is a founding member of the Central Indiana Academy of Finance, one of the largest financial literacy organizations in the Midwest. Dr. Will is a member of the governor’s business law survey commission and a co-founder of the 100 Black Men of Indianapolis Financial Literacy Program. He is a past president of the Rotary Club of Indianapolis and Indianapolis Rotary Foundation. He is committed to financial literacy and is involved in various projects to expand financial literacy among the youth in our community.

Dr. Will speaks extensively to public groups on topics including finance, economics, public policy, international business and others. Groups interested in having Dr. Will speak are encouraged to contact him directly.

Cancellation Policy
Requests for refunds must be made in writing no later than 48 hours prior to the date of the event (e-mail is acceptable). No cancellations will be accepted within 48 hours of the event. Substitutions are allowed and must be submitted in writing (e-mail is acceptable). The substitute must be from the same firm as the original registrant and, if the substitute is not a TMA Member, the difference in registration fee will be required. Please note that if you register for the event after the cancellation deadline has passed, you will not be eligible for a refund should you need to cancel your registration. The cancellation policy applies to all registrants regardless of when the registration is submitted. Registrants who fail to attend the event and do not provide written notice in accordance with these policies and deadlines are responsible for full payment. In the event the chapter cancels the event, refunds will be offered to registrants.
